Privacy Policy
We collect as little as possible. This page explains exactly what that is.
Last updated: October 23, 2026
1. What we collect
- Anonymous visit statistics. We use self-hosted analytics that record page views, referrer, device type, and your approximate location (country, region and city, derived from your IP address). We also store the IP address itself for a limited period to prevent abuse. This data is not used to identify you personally and is not shared with anyone.
- Account information (only if you sign in). If you create an account with Google sign-in, we receive your email address, display name and avatar. We use it only to operate your account.
- Theme preference. Your dark/light mode choice is stored in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device.
2. What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not run third-party advertising or tracking pixels.
- We do not build profiles across other websites.
3. Legal bases (GDPR)
Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we process anonymous statistics on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding readership, and account data on the basis of contract performance (operating your account). You may object at any time by emailing us.
4. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by writing to [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. California residents may exercise CCPA rights through the same address.
5. Data retention & security
Anonymous statistics are retained in aggregated form. Account data is kept until you delete your account. Data is stored on servers we control and transmitted over HTTPS.
6. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and note the change on this page.
